MAKEUP A full schedule means you need a makeup look that transitions easily from sophisticated to sexy—a smoky-lined eye, a nude lip, and glowing skin look good on everyone. A neutral shadow with metallic undertones "illuminates the eyes," says Barose, and can be soft or dramatic when intensified with liner. Switch up your usual black with a charcoal-gray pencil this season. And if you haven't done so already, invest in an antiaging BB cream. "It's great for smoothing lines without looking like you're wearing a lot of makeup," he explains. On mornings when you're seriously sleep-deprived, fake a well-rested face by applying blush that contains built-in highlighting particles directly on the apples of your cheeks. Must-have manicure: Gold and silver look edgy yet refined.
HAIR "This is the time when I start to hear my clients say, 'My hair isn't quite how it used to be,'?" says Ted Gibson, Angelina Jolie's longtime stylist. The biggest complaints: thinning and gray tresses. A daily supplement like Viviscal or biotin is "fantastic for growing hair," he adds. If you're battling a small silver army, take celebrity colorist Sharon Dorram's low-maintenance approach. "I recommend a semipermanent rinse on dark hair or painting low lights on redheads and blondes," she says. "Both will blend the grays and add plenty of shine."
SKIN CARE Can't stop obsessing about your crow's-feet and dark under-eye circles? Nobody can. "One hundred percent of my patients over 30 don't like the way their eyes look," Schweiger says. Get an eye cream, stat. Hollowing and shadows, however, may require professional help, and they keep docs like New York and Miami dermatologist Fredric Brandt busy. "I inject Juvéderm under the muscle to add volume and lighten shadows," he says.
