Here’s an idea: Skip the guesswork by taking inspiration from the nails we spotted backstage at Peter Som’s S/S 15 runway. Sure, New York Fashion Week ended last week, but we’re still dreaming about these nails—can you blame us? Nail artist Madeline Poole chose a neutral gray shade from Christian Louboutin’s Nude Collection to give matching mani-pedis to all of the models. Poole explained her inspiration for the simple and clean look: “The nail I created for the Peter Som girl used one of my favorite
shades,” she says. “a sophisticated gray nude that goes with any skin tone, and offsets the crisp, all-American glamour of the collection.” Simple, chic, and effective—in other words, our type of manicure, no matter the season.
