1. Avocado and egg white face mask for oily skin.

Although it might sound strange for avocado to be used in treating the oily skin, when the same avocado is well-known for benefiting dry skin, learn that in most cases the oily skin is really dehydrated beneath the surface, meaning a moisture boost will actually help regulate the sebum production:

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado pitted, peeled and mashed

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tbs lemon juice

How to use: Take a small bowl and use it to combine the mashed avocado, the egg white and the lemon juice. Mix all ingredients using a wooden spoon until you create a smooth paste. After cleansing your face, apply the mask onto your entire face making sure to avoid the eye area. Keep it on for 20 minutes, rinse it off with lukewarm water and proceed with your usual beauty routine.

2. Orange and Aloe Vera face mask for oily skin.

Even the oily skin needs its fair share of hydration and the combination between orange juice and Aloe Vera promises to do that and more, absorbing the excess sebum and leaving your skin with a matte finish:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 1 tsp Aloe Vera gel

How to use: Using a spoon, mix the two ingredients together in a small recipient. Just as with any other face mask, proceed to apply the paste made out of orange juice and Aloe Vera gel after first cleansing your skin. Avoid the eye area and relax for 15 minutes, while the mask works its wonders. Rinse with lukewarm water and a gentle washcloth. Apply once, or twice a week.

orange, or lemon juice, and apply it on a clean face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then proceed to rinsing your face using a cool washcloth, or a steaming warm washcloth. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

Mix well until you get a smooth paste that you will smear on a clean face, in even layers. Allow for the mask to work for about 10 to 15 minutes, rinse it off with cool water and pat dry.

5. Strawberry, honey and lemon juice mask for oily skin.

Strawberries and lemon juice contain natural astringents which work in reliving the oily skin from the expansion of the pores and excessive oils, preventing the microbial attacks to result in acne outbreaks:

Ingredients:

  • 6 fresh strawberries

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 2 egg whites

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
